Hi!
Welcome to Daydream of Horses, where I’ll be talking – guess what? – horses, horses, and more horses!!!
I’m a horse mad (in case you hadn’t realised!) British teenager who has a passion for reading, writing, and riding. I’ve been horse riding for over eight years but don’t have a horse of my own.
Here you will find random horse-related things, including riding tips, book reviews, equine lifestyles, and anything else that takes my fancy!! I hope you enjoy my blog, and please feel welcome to leave any messages in the comments box!
Let’s spread the equine love!!!

It’s the diversity, yet similarity, among us all that I find so appealing.

Love what you’re doing here, and I hope you find your way to your own equine bliss :)) Tried to post this comment on your recent post, but for some reason it wouldn’t work. Trying again, here :)) Dawn
Love this! What a miracle our horses are!!! I rode, alongside my long-ago-moved-away daughter, home on a brief visit, a couple nights ago . . . and all the organs, tendons, and twelve body systems worked in harmony to carry us, laughing, loving, into the woods. Into the wonder. Into the place only a galloping horse can take us :)) Dawn

Thank you Dawn! Yes, horses are amazing aren’t they!! I was recently able to visit a travelling horse show, and one of my favourite parts was when they had liberty with several horses, all circling and spinning around the woman in the centre. It really gave meaning to the old saying ‘a horse is poetry in motion.’ To remember that there is science and design under their poetic beauty only makes horses more amazing!
